In contrast to Trump</em><em>,</em><em> who is more "withdrawing" from intervening in the Asia-Pacific region and taking action/taking policies unilaterally with reference to 'America First'. Biden comes with a policy that is refocused, active and multilateral in securing US interests in the region. Using qualitative methods with literature study. This study aims to find out why the pivot-to-Asia policy was taken by Biden in dealing with China, compared to policies with Trump-like characteristics. From the research conducted, it was found that the reason why Biden took this policy was because the ruling decision makers (Democrats) were more inclined to a multilateral approach compared to Trump and the Republicans which were bilateral and unilateral. This research uses qualitative methods that gather primary and secondary data, from interview, literature reviews, and other text documents. and then uses discourse analysis techniques to analyze the captured data. Trade diplomacy is used to identify how ITPC Johannesburg's boost Indomie in South Africa market in 2022. This research found that Indomie has continuing market development from year to year in South Africa. ITPC Johannesburg had several strategies for selling Indomie in South Africa, including product promotions, in-store promotions, and market tests. ITPC Johannesburg also participated as a speaker in several events, meetings, and activities related to halal products to educate the consumer audience regarding Indomie products with the aim of increasing consumer’s trust in these products. The obstacle in this trade diplomacy for ITPC Johannesburg is that there had been many competitors locally and from other countries who have similar products, which of course created a huge competition. This article focuses on the issue of light weapons and medium weapons (SALW) in Nigeria and its impact on national security. Nigeria faces challenges in reducing illegal arms trade. This article analyzes individuals involved in the illegal arms trade based on data on the distribution of SALW in Nigeria, the factors that drive the demand for light weapons and medium weapons among civilians, such as the inability of the police to maintain order and other criminal activities due to weak control management resulting in open access to illegal weapons in Nigeria. The consequences of illegal arms trade, include increased violence, terrorism, kidnappings, communal crises, and attacks on educational institutions. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data sources for this research are the results of interviews with informants and literature relevant to the research, including books, articles and so on. The object of this research is the female students of the Assalafiyyah II Sukabumi Islamic Boarding School. This research shows that the construction of social piety in the santri community at the Assalafiyyah II Sukabumi Islamic Boarding School is a religious practice and behavior that emerges in a rational and structured manner.
